Scotty Sadzoute

Scotty Sadzoute is a French left-back, born in Le Port, Réunion, on 29 April 1998. He moved to mainland France as a teenager and joined Lille’s academy in 2014, later developing with the club’s reserve side before signing his first professional contract in 2018. During loan spells at Pau, Sadzoute helped the club secure promotion to Ligue 2 in 2019–20. He made his professional debut for Pau in August 2020 and became a regular the following season, recording 35 appearances and three assists. In July 2021, he moved to Belgian top-flight club OH Leuven before joining Nîmes on loan in January 2022. A serious injury disrupted his progress in early 2023, but he later returned with Leuven’s U23 side. Primarily a left-back, Sadzoute can also operate as a left midfielder or wing-back, supporting attacks with overlaps and crosses.
