Steve Rouiller

Steve Rouiller is a Swiss defender born in Monthey on July 10, 1990. He developed with FC Troistorrents, FC Monthey and FC Sion’s academy before returning to FC Monthey in 2011, where he played in the fourth tier and established himself over three seasons. Rouiller joined Sion’s senior setup in 2014, making his Swiss Super League debut against FC Basel in October that year. After moving to FC Chiasso in early 2015, he earned regular professional football and transferred to FC Lugano in August 2016. At Lugano, he scored his first top-flight goal in a 3–2 victory over Lausanne in 2017. Steve Rouiller joined Servette FC in June 2018, helping the club win the 2018–19 Challenge League title and later the 2023–24 Swiss Cup. A centre-back standing 183 centimetres, Rouiller combines defensive reading with reliable passing and remains an established figure for Servette.
