Samir Radovac

Samir Radovac is a Bosnia-Herzegovina midfielder born in Sarajevo on 25 January 1996. He developed in the FK Sarajevo academy and broke into the senior side as a teenager, after being named the best player in the Under-17 category in 2012/13. Radovac made more than 120 appearances for Sarajevo and helped the club win the Bosnian Cup in 2013/14. He later played for Olimpik Sarajevo and PAS Giannina, gaining experience outside Bosnia before joining Velež Mostar. At Velež, Radovac served as captain during a productive 2020–2023 spell and was part of the team that won the Bosnian Cup in 2021/22. Further stops at Novi Pazar and Ilioupoli preceded his return to Sarajevo with Željezničar in 2024. A central midfielder who can also operate deeper or farther forward, Radovac is valued for linking play, progressing possession and controlling the tempo.
