Simon Power
Simon Power is an Irish midfielder from Greystones, born on 13 May 1998. He developed with Greystones United, St Joseph’s Boys and Cabinteely before joining University College Dublin, where he helped the under-19 side win the national title in 2016. Power made his senior League of Ireland debut for Cabinteely in 2015 and later entered the UCD senior panel, while representing Ireland at under-18 and under-19 level. In January 2018, Norwich City signed him, and he gained experience with FC Dordrecht, Ross County and King’s Lynn Town during loan spells. He subsequently played for Harrogate Town before returning to Ireland with Shamrock Rovers in July 2022. A move to Sligo Rovers in 2024 brought four goals in 20 appearances, including a brace against Shamrock Rovers. Power now represents St Patrick’s Athletic, where his pace, direct running and wide delivery remain central to his game.
