Sergiu Plătică

Sergiu Plătică is a Moldovan football defender who plays primarily as a left-back. He developed in Moldova before representing Budăi and later Speranța Nisporeni, where his role broadened from midfield work into defensive duties. In 2017, Plătică joined Milsami Orhei on loan for the club’s European campaign and subsequently made the move permanent. With Milsami, he helped win the Moldovan Cup in 2017–18 and the Moldovan Super Cup in 2019. He moved to Petrocub in February 2020, becoming part of the squad that secured the 2023–24 Moldovan Super Liga title and contributed to further domestic-cup success. Plătică has also represented Moldova at senior level since making his international debut in 2017, while his club role has included left-back, left midfield and centre-back assignments.
