Samuel Petráš
Samuel Petráš is a Slovak goalkeeper born in Žilina on 10 April 1999. Standing 190 cm and naturally right-footed, he developed in the Žilina academy from 2010 to 2018 before progressing into the senior side. Petráš made his professional debut on 14 June 2020, starting in Žilina’s 2–1 victory over Spartak Trnava. He made 53 appearances during his Žilina tenure, gaining experience between the senior and developmental teams. In 2022, he moved to DAC Dunajská Streda on loan, with the transfer becoming permanent in 2023. Petráš joined Győri ETO FC in August 2024 and featured in the club’s 2025 UEFA Conference League qualifying campaign, saving a penalty in a 2–0 win over AIK. Internationally, he represented Slovakia at under-17 and under-21 level, collecting four U21 caps, and attended a prospective senior-team training camp in December 2022.
