Stefan Panić

Stefan Panić is a Serbian defensive midfielder born in Topola on 20 September 1992. He developed in Serbian football with OFK Mladenovac before a brief spell at C.D. Nacional in Portugal and a 2012 season with Kovačevac, where he helped secure the Belgrade Cup. Panić joined Metalac Gornji Milanovac in 2013 and helped the club win promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga after the 2014–15 campaign. He made his top-flight debut in 2015–16 and scored against Novi Pazar, later marking his 100th league appearance for Metalac with a goal against Red Star Belgrade. In January 2017, Panić made his Serbia debut in a 0–0 friendly draw with the United States. He subsequently moved to Baník Ostrava before continuing his career in Latvia with Riga FC and Rīgas FS. At Rīgas FS, Panić remains a tall, defensively minded midfielder whose physical presence also allows him to contribute from deeper positions.
