Simone Panada

Simone Panada is an Italian midfielder who developed at Atalanta after joining the club’s academy in 2008. At Zingonia, he captained youth teams and helped Atalanta’s Primavera win the Campionato Primavera 1 in 2019–20 and two Supercoppa Primavera titles, in 2019–20 and 2020–21. Panada also captained Italy Under-17 at the 2019 UEFA European Championship, where the team reached the final, and at that year’s FIFA Under-17 World Cup. He began senior football with Modena in 2022–23, making his professional debut in a Coppa Italia match against Catanzaro. In 2023–24, Panada joined Sampdoria and made three league appearances before returning to Atalanta. He then played for Atalanta U23 in Serie C, rebuilding regular senior experience. Venezia subsequently secured Panada, who was loaned back to Atalanta U23 to finish the season.
