Sergio Vincenzo Roberto Padt

Sergio Vincenzo Roberto Padt is a Dutch goalkeeper born in Amsterdam on 6 June 1990. He developed with R.K.S.V. Pancratius and SV Hoofddorp before joining Ajax’s youth academy, De Toekomst, in 2007. Padt then gained senior experience on loan with HFC Haarlem and Go Ahead Eagles, beginning a career shaped by regular first-team football. From 2011 to 2014, he played for Belgian club KAA Gent before returning to the Netherlands with FC Groningen. At Groningen, Padt established himself as a key figure across seven seasons, making 235 appearances and helping the club win the 2014–15 KNVB Cup. He moved to Ludogorets in 2021 and has since added four Bulgarian First League titles and multiple Bulgarian Super Cups to his honours. Padt also represented the Netherlands at youth level, including under-17 and under-21 teams, and received senior call-ups without becoming the national side’s regular goalkeeper.
