Solomon Owusu

Solomon Owusu is a Norwegian midfielder who was born in Ghana on 28 October 1995. He developed in Oslo with Romsås, Frigg and Nordstrand before beginning senior football at Follo in 2016. At Follo, Owusu made 20 appearances, then moved to Raufoss in 2018 and established himself over three seasons, playing 75 matches. His performances earned him a move to top-flight Odd in 2021, where he became a dependable option in midfield and defence. Owusu made 107 appearances for Odd and scored four goals, including a 2023 campaign in which he played 27 matches and recorded one goal and three assists. In August 2025, he joined Fredrikstad, adding experience to the newly promoted side. Comfortable as a defensive midfielder or centre-back, Owusu helps build play, recycles possession and provides defensive cover.
