Severin Ottiger

Severin Ottiger is a Swiss defender born in Sursee on 20 April 2003. He began playing with SC Eich before joining FC Luzern’s academy in 2016. Ottiger progressed through Luzern’s youth teams and moved into the club’s reserve setup in 2020, earning promotion to the senior squad in July 2021. He made his professional debut for Luzern on 18 December 2021, starting his senior career in the Swiss Super League. In 2022/23, he recorded 12 league appearances and two assists, then extended his Luzern contract through June 2027 in April 2023. The right-back became a regular in 2023/24, making 33 appearances, scoring twice and adding two assists. He is now listed with FC Winterthur, following a pathway that has combined defensive duties with attacking support from the flank.
