Sverre Halseth Nypan

Sverre Halseth Nypan is a Norwegian midfielder from Trondheim, known for his early rise at Rosenborg. He developed at Nardo FK before joining the Rosenborg academy in 2021. In 2022, Nypan became the youngest player to represent Rosenborg in a senior match, and he later became the club’s youngest goalscorer. Playing mainly as a central midfielder, he made 23 Eliteserien appearances in 2023, scoring five goals, before recording eight goals in 29 league matches in 2024. His performances earned him the Eliteserien Young Player of the Year award in both 2023 and 2024. Nypan has also operated as a number 10 or false nine, carrying the ball through midfield and contributing in advanced areas. He is currently listed with Lommel United and Norway Under-21s, after progressing through Norway’s international pathway.
