Siyabonga Ngezana

Siyabonga Ngezana is a South African centre-back born in Senokeng on 15 July 1997. He began playing as a striker for Soweto amateur side 3D before joining the Orlando Pirates development academy. After leaving Pirates, Ngezana moved to the Kaizer Chiefs youth academy, where he changed position and developed as a defender. He broke into Kaizer Chiefs’ senior side and played for the club from 2017 to 2023. In July 2023, he transferred to FCSB in Romania, taking his career into European football. Ngezana helped FCSB win the 2023–24 Liga I title and the 2024–25 Supercupa. A tall central defender, he contributes in physical and aerial duels while improving his distribution from the back. He has also represented South Africa internationally and remains part of FCSB’s squad.
