Sohaib Nair
Sohaib Nair is a French defender born in Saint-Denis on 23 April 2002. He developed in the Paris region with Cosmos Saint-Denis FC, Red Star FC, ASJ Aubervilliers and FC Montfermeil before joining Toulouse FC's academy in 2019. During three seasons at Toulouse, Nair primarily represented the club's reserve side while continuing his development. Nair moved to Guingamp in July 2022 and captained the reserve team in National 2, building experience and leadership. He made his Ligue 2 debut for Guingamp against Laval in August 2024, marking his arrival in senior professional football. The 183-centimetre defender is now registered with Saint Etienne, adding a new stage to a career shaped by progression through academy, reserve and professional football.
