Steve Michel Mounié

Steve Michel Mounié attacks space as a target man, using his 190cm frame to hold up and flick-ons for teammates. Beginning at Montpellier, Mounié made his professional debut in 2014–2015 and broke out in 2016–2017 with 14 Ligue 1 goals. He drives at defenders in bursts. Mounié moved to Huddersfield Town in 2017, scoring twice on his debut and helping them survive their first top-flight season. After an AFCON 2019 appearance, he joined Stade Brestois 29 and became a key figure, helping Brest qualify for Europe. In 2024 he signed for FC Augsburg and was loaned to Alanyaspor for 2025/26, continuing as a lone striker for Benin. As Benin's second all-time scorer and captain, Mounié led the team to the AFCON 2025 Round of 16.
