Sylian Aldren Mokono

Sylian Aldren Mokono is a Dutch defender born in Utrecht. He developed at USV Elinkwijk before joining FC Utrecht’s academy in 2010. In 2018, he moved into Jong FC Utrecht, making his Eerste Divisie debut and establishing himself as a right-back who could overlap and carry the ball. Mokono made his Eredivisie debut for Utrecht against Feyenoord in November 2020, although first-team opportunities remained limited. He joined Heracles in July 2022, helping the club win the Eerste Divisie title during the 2022–23 season before leaving in September 2024. After signing for VVV-Venlo in November 2024, he returned to the club in August 2025, adding experience and defensive work in the Dutch second tier. In January 2026, Mokono joined Prishtina, where his 1.88-metre frame supports aerial defending and positional versatility. He now represents a new chapter in Kosovo after developing through Dutch football.
