Samy Mmaee A Nwambeben

Samy Mmaee A Nwambeben is a Moroccan defender, primarily a centre-back, born in Halle, Belgium, on 8 September 1996. He developed in Belgium with KV Zuun, RWDM Brussels and KAA Gent before joining Standard Liège in 2013. Mmaee made his Belgian Pro League debut for Standard against Charleroi in July 2014 and was part of the club’s 2015–16 Belgian Cup-winning squad. He later continued his career with Sint-Truiden, becoming a regular in its defence. In 2021, he moved to Ferencvárosi TC, where he won four consecutive Hungarian league titles and the Magyar Kupa while featuring in European competitions. After spells with Dinamo Zagreb and Qarabag, Mmaee is registered with Pafos. He represented Belgium at under-19 and under-21 level before making his Morocco debut in 2020 and joining the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations squad.
