Sven Mijnans

Sven Mijnans is a Dutch attacking midfielder born in Spijkenisse on 9 March 2000. He developed with local club VV Spijkenisse and had youth spells with Sparta Rotterdam, Feyenoord and ADO Den Haag before returning to Spijkenisse. Mijnans made his senior debut for Spijkenisse in the Derde Divisie in February 2018. Later that year, he joined Sparta Rotterdam’s Under-21 setup and gradually progressed into the first team. During the 2021–22 and 2022–23 seasons, he became a regular starter, linking midfield with attack. On 31 January 2023, Mijnans moved to AZ Alkmaar, where he continued to operate between central and attacking midfield, using progressive passing and chance creation to advance possession. The structured squad listing currently places him with PSV Eindhoven, adding a further step to a career built through Dutch football’s development pathway.
