Scott Fraser McKenna
Scott Fraser McKenna is a Scottish centre-back born in Kirriemuir on 12 November 1996. He developed in Aberdeen’s academy and made his professional debut for Aberdeen in February 2016. Development loans at Ayr United and Alloa Athletic between 2015 and 2017 gave him valuable senior experience before he returned to Pittodrie. McKenna established himself as an Aberdeen starter during the 2017–18 breakout season. He moved to Nottingham Forest in September 2020 and was named the club’s Player of the Season as Forest won promotion to the Premier League in 2021–22. For Scotland, he featured in all three group matches at Euro 2024, adding major-tournament experience to his international career. After a loan spell with FC Copenhagen in early 2024, McKenna joined Las Palmas in August that year. In July 2025, he signed for Dinamo Zagreb, where he continues his career as an experienced central defender.
