Sandi Lovrić

Sandi Lovrić is a Slovenian midfielder born in Lienz, Austria, who developed through SV Rapid Lienz before joining Sturm Graz’s academy at 14. He made his Austrian Bundesliga debut for Sturm Graz in 2014 and spent five seasons with the club, helping them win the Austrian Cup in 2018. In 2019, Lovrić moved to FC Lugano, where a more prominent central role brought 108 appearances, 12 goals and 21 assists across three seasons. He also helped Lugano lift the Swiss Cup in 2022. Lovrić joined Udinese in 2022 and established himself in Serie A as a versatile midfielder linking defensive work with forward runs and final-third involvement. At international level, he represented Austria through Under-21 football before choosing Slovenia in 2020. Lovrić scored Slovenia’s winner against Croatia in 2021 and was part of their Euro 2024 squad, which reached the round of 16.
