Sami Lahssaini

Sami Lahssaini is a Belgian central midfielder born in Liège on 18 September 1998. He developed in the youth systems of Standard de Liège and RFC Seraing, where he progressed into senior football. Lahssaini became part of the Seraing side that won promotion play-offs in 2021 and 2022, helping the club rise through Belgium’s divisions. In 2019, he moved to French club Metz, with his development continuing through loans and returns to Seraing. Those spells gave Lahssaini experience in Belgian professional football before he left Metz for a permanent move to RAAL La Louvière in July 2024. At La Louvière, he operates mainly in central midfield and can also provide deeper defensive cover, contributing to ball recovery and circulation. Sami Lahssaini remains part of RAAL La Louvière’s squad, continuing the progression from Seraing prospect to established Belgian midfielder.
