Simen Kvia-Egeskog

Simen Kvia-Egeskog is a Norwegian midfielder who developed in Viking’s youth academy and signed his first professional contract with the club in June 2021. He made his Eliteserien debut for Viking on 10 July 2021, appearing in a 1–1 draw with Strømsgodset. In September 2022, he joined Skeid on loan and later spent time with Hødd in 2023, where he scored his first professional goals. Kvia-Egeskog subsequently returned to Viking and continued his progression in senior football. In 2025, he made 28 appearances and scored five goals as Viking won the Eliteserien title. Primarily a central midfielder, he can also play as an attacking midfielder or on the left wing. His game combines short passing, ball progression and late runs with pressing work, making Kvia-Egeskog a versatile link between midfield and attack.
