Samuel Karl Johan Kroon
Samuel Karl Johan Kroon is a Swedish midfielder who plays for KA Akureyri in Iceland. Born on 28 November 1996, he developed in Stockholm-area youth football with IK Bele, Spånga IS and Täby FK before entering senior football with Bele Barkarby FF in 2015. At Nyköpings BIS from 2016 to 2018, Kroon made 62 league appearances and scored six goals. With Umeå FC in 2019, he scored nine goals in 27 appearances and helped the club reach the Superettan through the playoffs. He joined Halmstads BK next, helping win the 2020 Superettan title and promotion to the Allsvenskan, where he debuted in 2021. After 12 goals in 62 appearances for Halmstad, he played for IF Brommapojkarna in 2023 before joining Örebro SK. Kroon became a regular at Örebro through 2025, combining wide attacking involvement with midfield and defensive responsibilities.
