Sebastián Kóša

Sebastián Kóša is a Slovak centre-back born on 13 September 2003 in Nové Zámky. Standing 1.91 metres, he developed into a senior defender before joining Spartak Trnava in July 2020. At Trnava, Kóša progressed from teenage prospect to a regular defensive figure, gaining European experience in the UEFA Europa Conference League and winning the Slovak Cup in 2022 and 2023. He also spent a season alongside Martin Škrtel, an experience associated with the refinement of his positioning and leadership. In August 2024, Kóša moved to Spanish side Zaragoza, where an ankle fracture in a Copa del Rey match disrupted his first season. He later returned to Slovakia on loan with FK Košice, rebuilding his match rhythm and contributing as a tall, aerially strong defender involved in build-up play. Kóša has represented Slovakia at youth level, including the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, made his senior debut against Austria in March 2024, and was selected for UEFA Euro 2024.
