Shareef Keouf

Shareef Keouf is an Israeli goalkeeper who plays for Maccabi Haifa. Born on June 25, 2001, in Israel, he developed with Hapoel Isfiya and Ironi Nesher before joining Maccabi Haifa’s youth academy. He signed his first professional contract with the club in June 2019. Keouf then gained senior experience on loan at Hapoel Kfar Shalem during the 2020–21 season, making 21 appearances. From 2021 to 2023, he played for Hapoel Afula, where 44 appearances helped him establish himself in the second tier. Returning to Haifa, he progressed from promising cover into a more prominent first-team goalkeeper. Standing 1.87 metres, Keouf combines reflex saves with proactive work beyond his line and distribution from the back. He has also been involved in Maccabi Haifa’s title-winning 2022–23 Israeli Premier League campaign and 2023–24 Super Cup triumph.
