Sebastian Linnet John

Sebastian Linnet John is a Danish goalkeeper, born on 26 March 1996. He developed at Søndermarken IK before joining the youth system of Viborg FF and entering Viborg’s senior squad in 2014. John moved to Fremad Amager in 2018, then spent periods with Kolding IF and FC Fredericia, where he gained regular experience in Denmark’s second tier. In 2024, he continued his career in the Faroe Islands with 07 Vestur. John joined KÍ Klaksvík in January 2025, bringing a decade of Danish football experience to one of the Faroese game’s leading clubs. At KÍ, he has been used as a ball-playing, proactive goalkeeper, combining distribution and sweeper actions with positioning, reflexes and traditional shot-stopping. He also featured in KÍ’s 2025 UEFA Conference League qualifying campaign, including a 120-minute tie against FC Neman Grodno.
