Slobodan Jakovljević

Slobodan Jakovljević is a Serbian defender born in Priština on 26 May 1989. He developed through Serbian football before beginning his senior career and establishing himself as a centre-back in the professional game. In 2015, Jakovljević moved to Radnik Bijeljina, where he helped the club win the 2015–16 Bosnian Cup. His performances in Bijeljina led to a June 2016 transfer to Zrinjski, the club that has defined his career. At Zrinjski, he became a long-serving central defender and a regular presence during the club’s successful domestic campaigns. He contributed to league title wins in 2016–17, 2017–18, 2021–22, 2022–23 and 2024–25, as well as Bosnian Cup triumphs in 2022–23 and 2023–24. Jakovljević also featured in Zrinjski’s historic 2023 Conference League group-stage campaign, adding European experience to an enduring career in Mostar.
