Sunusi Ibrahim

Sunusi Ibrahim is a Nigerian forward who developed through FC Basira in Lafia and the Sports Academy in Akwanga. He made his professional debut for Nasarawa United in January 2018, aged 16, before later spending time with 36 Lion FC in Lagos. In the 2018–19 Nigeria Professional Football League, Ibrahim finished joint-top scorer with 10 goals in 22 matches. He joined CF Montréal in January 2021, beginning his North American career after his rise in Nigeria. Ibrahim scored his first MLS goal against the New York Red Bulls in August 2021 and helped Montréal win the Canadian Championship that year. In 2022, he recorded his first professional hat-trick in a 3–0 Canadian Championship victory over Forge FC. He has also been involved with Nigeria’s under-23 side, including Olympic Eagles qualifying matches.
