Siebe Horemans
Siebe Horemans is a Belgian defender, born in Gent on 2 June 1998. He developed at Gent and made his professional debut for the club in a 2016 UEFA Europa League qualifying match against Viitorul Constanța. Horemans then joined OH Leuven on loan in 2017 before an ACL injury disrupted his progress the following year. In 2018, he moved to Excelsior, initially on loan, and remained with the Rotterdam club after its relegation in 2019. He helped Excelsior return to the Eredivisie in 2022, making 36 league appearances during the promotion campaign. Primarily a right-back, Horemans can also cover at centre-back, using his 1.86-metre frame in defensive duels and aerial situations. He joined Utrecht in July 2024 and has continued his career in the Dutch top flight.
