Santiago Hezze

Santiago Hezze is an Argentine midfielder from Buenos Aires who developed in Huracán’s youth system. He made his senior debut for Huracán in February 2020, starting against Aldosivi after first appearing on the bench in the Copa Sudamericana. Hezze also contributed an assist for Leandro Grimi in a 1–1 Sudamericana draw with Atlético Nacional, an early sign of his ability to influence matches from midfield. At Huracán, he operated as a number eight or in a double pivot, combining ball recovery with involvement in possession. In August 2023, Hezze moved to Olympiakos Piraeus, where he has primarily played as a defensive midfielder. He helped Olympiakos win the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League, the club’s first major European trophy. Hezze has also been involved with Argentina U23, adding international experience to a career that began in Buenos Aires and continues in Greece.
