Santiago Tomás Giménez

Santiago Tomás Giménez is a centre-forward born in Buenos Aires on 18 April 2001 and raised in Mexico. He developed in Cruz Azul’s academy and began his senior career with the Liga MX club. Giménez helped Cruz Azul end a 23-year league-title drought by winning the 2021 Liga MX championship, collecting six trophies during his time there. In 2022, he moved to Feyenoord and scored 23 goals in his debut European season. He won the Eredivisie in 2022–23 and the KNVB Cup in 2023–24, establishing himself as a leading Mexican striker in the Netherlands. Giménez joined AC Milan in 2025, continuing a career that has taken him from Mexico through the Netherlands to Italy. Internationally, he represents Mexico and scored the 88th-minute winner against Panama in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup final.
