Sofiane Diop attacks space from advanced positions, driving at defenders and threatening the channel. Sofiane Diop orchestrates quick combinations and plays through balls. He thrives as a free 10. Sofiane Diop made his professional debut for Monaco in 2018 against PSG in the Trophée des Champions. A 2019–20 loan to Sochaux gave him first-team minutes. He returned to Monaco and broke through under Niko Kovac, notably scoring in a 2-0 win over PSG at the Parc des Princes. In 2022 Diop moved to Nice to become the Gym project’s focal point and lead their attack. International note: Diop earned a Morocco call-up after representing France at U21, and by 2025–26 he tops Nice with seven goals.
