Salifou Diarrassouba

Salifou Diarrassouba is an Ivorian midfielder born on 20 December 2001 in Burkina Faso. He developed at ASEC Mimosas before moving to Switzerland on loan with FC St. Gallen in September 2020. Diarrassouba made his professional debut against FC Zürich in January 2021 and later scored his first professional goal against Servette FC. After the loan ended in 2022, he returned to ASEC Mimosas, where he spent three seasons and gained experience in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup. A left-footed player, he has been used as an attacking midfielder and on either wing. His 166-centimetre frame suits a game based on close control, movement and quick combinations, while his role has also included pressing and maintaining team shape. Diarrassouba is currently listed with Rapperswil.
