Soumaïla Coulibaly

Soumaïla Coulibaly is a French centre-back born in Montfermeil on 14 October 2003. He began at FC Montfermeil before developing in Paris Saint-Germain’s academy and featuring for its under-19s. At PSG, he moved to Borussia Dortmund in July 2021, pursuing a pathway to senior football. An ACL injury suffered earlier that year delayed his integration in Germany. He eventually made his Dortmund first-team debut in April 2023. Coulibaly then joined Royal Antwerp on loan for 2023–24, making 22 Belgian Pro League appearances and starting six Champions League matches. He subsequently moved to Strasbourg, with a loan spell at Stade Brestois 29 giving him further Ligue 1 and Champions League experience. Standing 1.91 metres, Soumaïla Coulibaly offers a strong physical presence at centre-back and contributes to build-up play.
