Serhii Chobotenko
Serhii Chobotenko is a Ukrainian defender born on January 16, 1997, in Zaporizhzhya. At 1.93m, he developed at Metalurh Zaporizhya before moving to Dynamo Kyiv in 2015, where he appeared for the under-19 side in the UEFA Youth League. He also spent part of his development in Shakhtar Donetsk's youth and reserve system. Chobotenko made his Ukrainian Premier League debut for FC Mariupol against Zorya Luhansk on July 22, 2018, then established himself during four seasons with the club. In 2022, he moved to Kolos Kovalivka, continuing as a top-flight defender. He joined Polessya in July 2023 and remains part of the club's squad. At Polessya, Serhii Chobotenko contributed to a defensive unit that recorded 10 clean sheets in 21 league appearances in 2025–26, while scoring once.
