Sebastiaan Bornauw
Sebastiaan Bornauw is a Belgian defender born in Wemmel on 22 March 1999. He developed at Anderlecht after returning from a year with Wydad Casablanca and made his professional debut for the Brussels club in July 2018. After one season in Belgium, Bornauw joined 1. FC Köln in August 2019, beginning a German chapter that established him as a regular centre-back. At Köln, he scored on the final day of the 2020–21 season as the club reached the relegation play-offs and ultimately retained its place in the Bundesliga. In 2021, he transferred to VfL Wolfsburg, where he continued to provide strength in defensive duels and aerial situations. Bornauw later moved to Leeds, adding Premier League football to his experience. He has also represented Belgium internationally, while his 1.91-metre frame remains a notable asset in both boxes.
