Sofus Berger Brix
Sofus Berger Brix is a left-footed central midfielder from Viborg, Denmark. He began playing at Overlund GF at five before joining Viborg FF’s academy at under-13 level. Berger made his senior debut for Viborg in a Danish Cup win over Jammerbugt on 6 August 2019, then appeared in the Danish 1st Division against HB Køge days later. He scored his first professional goal against Vejle in July 2020. On 21 July 2022, Berger came off the bench to score Viborg’s winner against Sūduva in a UEFA Europa Conference League qualifier. Seeking regular football, he spent the 2023 season on loan at FC Fredericia, scoring twice in Denmark’s second tier. Berger later joined Silkeborg, where his central-midfield profile can also be used in wider or attacking roles.
