Sander Gard Bolin Berge

Sander Gard Bolin Berge is a Norwegian defensive midfielder born in Bærum on 14 February 1998. He began at Asker, making his senior debut in Norway’s third tier at 15, before joining Vålerenga in 2015 and scoring on his debut. By 2016, Berge had become a regular starter and was named the Norwegian league’s Young Player of the Year. In January 2017, he moved to Genk, where he developed as a deep-lying playmaker, helped the club reach the Europa League quarter-finals, and won the Belgian title in 2018–19. Berge joined Sheffield United in January 2020 and later helped the club return to the Premier League in 2023. After a season with Burnley, he transferred to Fulham in August 2024. A Norway international, Berge combines defensive screening with progressive carrying and can operate as either a holding midfielder or a more advanced No. 8.
