Samir Belloumou
Samir Belloumou is a French midfielder, born in Martigues on 2 May 1994. He developed at Martigues before continuing his youth career with Istres, where he made his professional debut in the Championnat National in 2015. After a spell with US Le Pontet in 2016, Belloumou returned to Martigues in 2017. He became a regular in midfield as the club progressed from the Championnat National 2 to the Championnat National in 2022. Martigues then secured promotion to Ligue 2 in 2024, marking the club’s return to professional football. Belloumou captained the side during this rise and combined a holding role with central-midfield duties. In 2025, he moved to Valenciennes, adding experience to their midfield after his long association with Martigues.
