Simon Michael Becher

Simon Michael Becher is an American forward who developed through Oakwood SC before beginning his college career at Holy Cross. At Saint Louis University, Becher became a national standout, earning First-Team All-American honors in 2021 and recording 14 goals and 10 assists. Selected 16th overall by the Vancouver Whitecaps in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft, he first led Whitecaps FC 2 with eight goals in MLS NEXT Pro. After signing a first-team contract, Becher scored his first four MLS goals in a record 87 minutes across three games during 2023. He finished that season with seven goals across all competitions. In January 2024, he moved to AC Horsens, scoring three goals in 14 appearances before joining St. Louis CITY SC on loan later that year. St. Louis made the move permanent in April 2025.
