Simon Bokoté Banza

Simon Bokoté Banza attacks space and runs beyond the line, locking onto through balls as a traditional number nine. Banza links play with one-touch layups and checks short before spinning in behind. He shields the ball under pressure. At RC Lens in 2019, Banza scored a decisive extra-time winner to seal promotion. A breakout season at FC Famalicão (2021–22) delivered 14 goals and visibility. With SC Braga (2023–24) he matched the club record with 21 league goals and won the Portuguese League Cup. He debuted for DR Congo in 2023. Now at Al Jazira, Banza remains a target forward who finishes moves from the back post.
