Samuel Amo-Ameyaw

Samuel Amo-Ameyaw is an English midfielder born in London on 18 July 2006. He developed in Tottenham Hotspur’s academy before leaving in August 2022, aged 16, to join Southampton. At Southampton, he progressed from the Under-18s to the Under-21s and helped the club win the Premier League 2 title. Amo-Ameyaw made his Premier League debut against Liverpool on 28 May 2023, becoming Southampton’s youngest player in the competition, and signed his first professional contract that July. He scored his first senior goal in Southampton’s EFL Cup win over Cardiff City in August 2024 before moving to Strasbourg in February 2025. A left-footed, versatile attacker, he can operate wide or as a No. 10, using acceleration, close control and direct ball-carrying to progress attacks while representing England through the under-21 level.
