Simon Adingra
Simon Adingra attacks space from the left, peeling off the line and driving at defenders to create space for teammates. He joined Brighton from Nordsjælland and rose through Union SG on loan. Adaptability defines his evolving forward role. Turning point came with AFCON 2024 triumph for Ivory Coast, where Adingra won Young Player of the Tournament. In 2025 he moved to Sunderland for £21 million, becoming a focal figure in their 2025/26 push. For Sunderland he provides pace, checks short then spins in behind, and presses high to force turnovers from the front. Simon Adingra links plays with one-touch layoffs and finishes moves when opportunities arise. He attacks the back post and gets shots off quickly.
