Rúben Gonçalo Silva Nascimento Vinagre

Rúben Vinagre is a Portuguese left-back, born in Charneca de Caparica on 9 April 1999. He developed in the Sporting CP academy and moved to Monaco in 2015, later joining Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan in 2017. At Wolves, Vinagre helped the club win promotion to the Premier League before making the move permanent, and he scored his first senior goal against Burton Albion in September 2017. He also represented Portugal through the youth ranks, winning the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2016 and the Under-19 Championship in 2018. After returning to Sporting CP in 2021, he won the Taça da Liga and Portuguese Super Cup, while also spending time with Olympiakos Piraeus and Everton. He joined Legia Warszawa on loan in 2024 and became a permanent player in 2025. Vinagre offers left-footed width, crossing and recovery pace, and remains part of Legia’s squad.
