Rory Danny Hale

Rory Hale is a midfielder born in Belfast on 27 November 1996. He developed in the Aston Villa Academy and later captained the club’s under-23 side before leaving the English system at 20. Returning to senior football in Ireland, Hale joined Galway United in 2017 and moved to Derry City in 2018. At Derry, he won the League of Ireland Cup alongside his brother Ronan. In January 2019, Rory Hale signed for Crusaders, helping the club win the Irish Cup and County Antrim Shield. He joined Cliftonville in January 2021, where his midfield role has ranged from deeper playmaking to attacking support. With Cliftonville, he won the 2023/24 Irish Cup, while his 10 Premiership goals that season marked a career high.
