Rômulo José Cardoso da Cruz
Rômulo José Cardoso da Cruz is a Brazilian forward born in Marialva on 8 February 2002. He developed at Maringá FC, where he became the top scorer in the Brazilian Under-17 championship. Atlético Paranaense first brought him in on loan in 2018 and completed his move in July 2019. Rômulo made his senior debut for the club against Atlético Mineiro in November 2021 and scored a hat-trick against Cianorte in the 2022 Campeonato Paranaense. In February 2024, he joined Göztepe on loan, scoring five goals as the Turkish club secured promotion. His form continued in Turkey, where he was credited with 17 goals and 10 assists across 33 matches before leaving. Rômulo then moved to RB Leipzig in August 2025, extending his rise from Brazilian youth football to the Bundesliga.
