Rodrigo de Souza Prado

Rodrigão, whose full name is Rodrigo de Souza Prado, is a Brazilian defender born in Brasília. He developed in Atlético Mineiro’s system before undertaking loan spells with Caldense, Coimbra, Boa Esporte and Ferroviária between 2016 and 2019. After making his senior breakthrough in Brazil, he moved to Portugal and joined Gil Vicente in 2019. Rodrigão established himself there during two seasons in the Primeira Liga, gaining regular top-flight experience. In 2021, he transferred to PFC Sochi in Russia, where his performances led to a move to Zenit Saint Petersburg the following year. At Zenit, he continued to develop as a centre-back and featured during the 2023–24 campaign. He later left Russia and is now listed with FK Crvena Zvezda, adding experience from Brazil, Portugal and Russia to the Serbian club’s defence.
