Roberto Fernández Jaén

Roberto Fernández is a Spanish forward from Puente Genil, born on 3 July 2002. He developed in Andalusia before joining Málaga’s academy in 2018 and progressing into the club’s senior side. Fernández made his professional debut against Mirandés in August 2021, then scored his first senior goal six days later against Ibiza. He returned to Málaga for the 2023/24 campaign, scoring 20 goals across all competitions as the club secured promotion to Segunda División. In July 2024, Roberto moved to SC Braga and scored against Servette in Europa League qualifying before joining Espanyol on loan in January 2025. He scored the winner on his La Liga debut against Valladolid, and Espanyol later made the move permanent, giving Fernández an established top-flight platform for the next stage of his career.
