Rio Kyerematen
Rio Kyerematen is an English midfielder developed by Tottenham Hotspur. He joined the club’s academy at eight and progressed through its youth teams, scoring eight goals and supplying five assists for the Under-16s in 2020/21. Kyerematen made his Under-18 debut in April 2021, featuring in a 3–0 win over Southampton. In 2022/23, he helped Tottenham’s Under-18s win the Premier League Cup, scoring in the semi-final against Sheffield United and twice in the final against Aston Villa. He then stepped up to the Under-21s and contributed to their Premier League 2 title success in 2023/24. Kyerematen made his first senior appearance for Tottenham during the club’s post-season tour of Australia in May 2024, against Newcastle United. He has been used in central midfield roles and valued for forward passing, close control and an ability to link play.
