He broke through in Ajax's first team. His senior debut came on February 16, 2025, in a Eredivisie win over Heracles Almelo. Bounida made his Champions League bow on November 25, 2025, starting against Benfica. He notched his first senior goal on December 17, 2025, in a KNVB Cup match vs Excelsior Maassluis, also recording four assists.
